Social responsibility - an integrated part of our company
We believe that social responsibility and commitment are important parts of running a business. SA 8000 is an internationally recognized standard for social responsibility, and this very certificate plays an important role in the way we run our business.
With the SA 8000 certificate we document that our own employees as well as those of our subcontractors work under proper conditions. It is a matter of basic human rights which can be taken for granted here in Denmark but not necessarily in other countries.
The certificate guarantees credibility and cannot be achieved through self-regulation but only through an impartial, external control.
Based on the conventions behind SA 8000 we live up to high ethical standards while ensuring that also our subcontractors observe the central international conventions on the labour market.
We have been certified by Norske Veritas. The certification was completed in 2009.
Dymak’s leading quality controller has been certified himself as “Lead Auditor – SA 8000” and in order to achieve this certificate he has completed training under Norske Veritas.
The certification enables us to point out flaws at the individual factories in accordance with the regulations under SA 8000.
